The Bonifazi Group hosted the Final Review Meeting of the DECOCHROM project (Grant Agreement ID: 760973) on the 21-22 June 2022. At the Campus of the University of Vienna, the consortium members met to discuss the accomplished research and design goals, and the future perspectives and challenges of the printed electrochromics arena. Live demonstrations of numerous prototypes were also performed, where industry and academic partners displayed smart and interactive designs spanning fashion, furniture, toys, sports, industrial and artistic printing, architecture applications, etc.
This multidisciplinary project successfully demonstrated a productive synergy of backgrounds such as design, chemistry, manufacturing, printing, laminates, electronics system integration and electrochromic solutions by bringing about products from ideas.
