Deborah Romito

Deborah Romito was born in Bari, Italy, in 1994. She spent seven months as visiting student at Cardiff University under the supervision of Prof. D. Bonifazi, working on the chalcogen-containing aromatic systems.

She achieved her Master degree in Chemical Sciences at the University of Bari “Aldo Moro”, then she came back to Cardiff University in the same research group for a Ph.D. in Supramolecular Chemistry.

Particularly, her research is focused on challenging the Chalcogen Bonding as driving force to build an ordered 2D network on surface.
