Martina Crosta

Martina Crosta was born in Milano (Italy) in 1996. She obtained her BSc degree in Chemical Sciences and Technologies at the University of Milano-Bicocca in 2018, after working on the synthesis of carbazole-based photosensitizers for artificial photosynthesis in the Abbotto group. She then moved to Uppsala University (Sweden) to undertake Master studies in Organic Chemistry. In July 2020, she received her MSc degree with a thesis on hypoxia-activated benzothiadiazole fluorophores for cancer cell imaging in the Dyrager group. In October 2020, she joined the Bonifazi group at the University of Vienna as PhD student. Her research concerns the synthesis of boron-nitrogen doped molecular graphenes.
